Ranthambhore Wildlife Jeep Safari Tour

Arrive at Ranthambhore, located near the town of Sawai Madhopur. On arrival, transfer to your selected wildlife lodge or resort, surrounded by forested landscapes. After check-in, enjoy lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, prepare for your first jeep safari inside Ranthambhore National Park. Accompanied by a trained naturalist and government-authorized driver, enter the park in an open 4x4 jeep. During the safari, explore dry forests, grasslands, and water bodies that attract wildlife. Keep an eye out for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, sambar deer, spotted deer, nilgai, and a variety of bird species. The park’s ancient structures, including cenotaphs and remnants of the Ranthambhore Fort, add a historic charm to the jungle landscape. Return to the lodge by evening. Early morning wake-up call followed by tea/coffee. Proceed for a morning jeep safari, considered the best time for wildlife activity. The cool hours of dawn offer excellent opportunities to track tigers as they move towards water bodies or patrol their territories. Each safari explores a different park zone, increasing the chances of diverse wildlife sightings. Your naturalist will help interpret animal behavior, pugmarks, alarm calls, and forest signs. Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time. Guests can relax, enjoy the natural surroundings, or attend an informal wildlife talk at the lodge. After lunch, depart for the afternoon jeep safari. As temperatures drop, animals re-emerge near lakes and open areas. This safari often provides excellent photographic opportunities, especially around watering holes. Return to the lodge in the evening. Enjoy a calm night amidst jungle sounds. Early morning tea/coffee followed by your final jeep safari. This last safari offers a final chance to spot tigers or observe other wildlife such as marsh crocodiles, langurs, and birdlife. After returning to the lodge, enjoy breakfast and check-out. Transfer to Sawai Madhopur Railway Station or continue your onward journey.
